"Read Together. Grow Together."
Pages & Kin is a curated online bookshop celebrating Black literature — bringing culturally affirming stories to families, young readers, and communities everywhere.

Pages & Kin exists to build a vibrant literary community rooted in family, culture, and shared story. As a Black-owned online bookstore, we bring Black literature directly to families and readers everywhere.
"Our mission is to make reading feel like home by cultivating joy, connection, and belonging — one page and one kin at a time."
We believe every family deserves stories that reflect their truth, history, and joy. Whether you're buying a bedtime story, gifting a classic, or gathering around for a community read — you're home here.
A carefully selected collection of books by Black authors, illustrators, and independent presses — children's, family, and general fiction.
Monthly curated book boxes for children and families. Surprise selections tailored by age, interest, and the stories that matter most.
Virtual storytimes, author spotlights, educator resource bundles, community read-alongs, and book club kits for every age.
We partner with schools, libraries, churches, and community centers to bring curated collections and culturally affirming programming.

With 11 years in healthcare administration, I've built a career around serving people — and Pages & Kin is an extension of that same calling.
My love of reading was planted early. My parents prioritized books in our home, and my grandmothers — both child educators — made literacy feel like love. Library trips every school break, spelling quizzes, questions about what I was reading. That was community. That was kinship.
When my daughter was born, my husband's encouragement gave me the courage to finally chase this dream. Pages & Kin is my promise to her — that chasing your dreams matters, that reading builds community, and that our stories belong at the center.
Tailored for the Black community. Open to everyone.
Pages & Kin is more than a bookstore. It's a cultural hub — rooted in community, built on love of story, and committed to making Black literature accessible to everyone who needs it.
Online shopping means families in book deserts, rural areas, and underserved communities can access culturally affirming books — no matter where they are.
Children who see themselves in stories grow up with stronger identities, deeper empathy, and greater confidence in who they are and where they come from.
From board books for babies to novels for elders, Pages & Kin serves every generation — because literacy is a family legacy worth building together.
